I have a rich background in culinary art's that can meaningfully contribute to your business. As a native Venezuelan, I have authentic knowledge for cooking ethnic dishes such as arepas and empanadas, as well as flavorful Carribean dishes.
A few years ago I had the opportunity to work at the popular Recio’s Ghost Restaurant in Canary Islands, Spain. Here I specialized in cooking and serving delicious Mediterranean dishes made from scratch for an informal media scale casual dining service. During my stay in Spain, I also had the chance to be introduced to the fascinating world of the molecular gastronomy.
For the past four years, I have managed the marketing and advertising of Pinocchio Pizza in Northampton, Massachusetts. Pinocchio's is listed as one of Mark Zuckerberg's the favorite restaurant! My expertise and skills in design and photography provide me the opportunity to create practical and well-designed and illustrated food menu's that helped increase sales and customer satisfaction. This new menu design substituted the old and unpractical 4-page black and white color menu.
At Pinocchio's Pizza, I also created and designed the restaurant’s website and Facebook page. I utilize my social media and design skills to create a Facebook page for the company. To spark interest in the new social media campaign, I coordinated a fundraising campaign to donate 5% of our profits in-house to be donated to the relief fund for individuals and families affected by Hurricane Maria. I also illustrated the restaurant’s Facebook page by taking pictures of the dishes and posting interesting content on the Facebook page. After the Facebook was successful I launched Instagram and Pinterest accounts as well. At Pinocchio’s, I extremely enjoyed the meaningful daily interaction with customers. As such, I took the initiative to review customers' comments on social media and maintain positive and consistent customer interactions online. I also created a suggestion box for customers feedback that I shared with the restaurant’s owner with the purposes to utilize the feedback to improve customer’s service experiences
